The actual concept is stupid (nuclear waste turns children into zombies whose hugs burn people alive!) but th--- no actually that's a great idea. Toys with the familial anxiety that the adults may have to murder their own brood to survive, eventually taking it to its furthest extreme with some onscreen gun- and swordplay. Clearly there's some angst and small-town Americana social chicanery at work, hidden inside a film that is triumphantly perverse and tasteless.

A bit slow for a Troma movie, the kids turn their victims into fried beef jerky, which is hilarious. Some material is good, other parts are too silly to be taken seriously, so this is a bit of a mixed bag that I still kind of liked.

Quite a nasty little offering, with radioactive zombie kids incinerating people for reasons which aren't fully explained. The creepy kids advancing on their victims reminded me at times of the Ghost Story For Christmas offering "Lost Hearts". This isn't as good as that, unfortunately. It's just all a bit bleak and amateurish. The general unpleasantness is moderately satisfying, that's about it. Rather unlikeable overall.

Watchable horror film about zombie(?) children. Not that scary, but it has an eerie atmosphere and benefits greatly from rural Massachusetts locations - where it was filmed back-to-back with Friday the 13th. The films also share composer Manfredini who does a solid job here as well. Gore make-up is effective, but the kids are not convincing nor menacing with their black nail polish and there's plenty of overacting from the adults as well. Ending gets surprisingly gory with chopping of limbs.

Whereas most horror movies shy away from killing the irritating rugrats, this one goes ahead & kills all of them. Bad pacing & a stolen soundtrack, but good tasteless fun.

Rather boring and stupid idea for a zombie movie. I was surprised that this was made by Troma because of how comedic their horror movies usually are. But this was taken seriously and I think that was the downfall of this movie.
