The Case Against Brooklyn

There's a toughness to Darren McGavin's performance that really makes this film (and he's even tougher as Adam Sandler's on-screen dad in 'Billy Madison'!). Watching this, I did wonder whether the climactic fight scene in the laundry inspired the finale in 'The Fugitive' (which of course also takes place in an industrial laundry).

Fairly standard until the last twenty minutes. Darren McGavin seemed miscast and the pacing wasn't very good.
