The Care Bears Movie

I remember watching this as often as was humanly possible as a child. For a kid, it was fun and adventurous. For an adult, well, it's a silly kids cartoon that offers you very little other than something wholesome for the kids, and that's exactly what it's meant to be. Pretty good!

I really love the core of the movie--sharing feelings, working together, and having friends to process through pain and trauma (or else you'll be hardened from not caring like Nicholas taken over by the evil spirit)... but the story was pretty superficial.

I enjoyed this movie a lot as a kid and watched it often. It doesn't really hold up well at all as an adult, but for nostalgia enjoyment, it's not bad.

Insipid televesion series makes for an even worse movie. I suppose the bright colors might attract the drool and diapers crowd.

I loved this movie as a kid. This movie is terrible. (100 + 0)/ 2 = 50.

Manipulative marketing crap. No wonder my generation's a bunch of materialistic folks constantly in debt.
