I thought I had the movie figured out and was starting to be disappointed about 1/3 through the film, but the twist at the end was a nice addition. Nice clever dialogue. The pace was good and I didn't even realize it was only a 2-person cast on one set until the end. Fav scene: opening the closet door in the daughter's room...it fooled me too.

One of those movies you're left totally gobsmacked about ... why did Charles Band produce this there wasn't a single small evil puppet or doll anywhere

Please, whatever you do... watch it until the very end, even skipping.

Genre minimalism to the absolute extreme. Just when I think I’ve seen everything, and even anticipating the possible Lynchian overtones, I still did not see this exact resolution coming. The direction is meticulous, and the two leads beyond reproach with a masterclass in chamber drama. I don’t buy everything the script does. But I do buy everything else the film is doing. If you’re annoyed with the constant questions in the dialogue, remember half your day is filling out CAPTCHAs online.

You definitely as a avid movie watcher think you’ve seen it all or know how the twists and turns of all cinema works but man this one really shocked me. At the end I was like did I miss something did I fall asleep and miss a crucial plot point but no it was just the ultimate zag. The whole movie is red herring after red herring mixed with some of the most off kilter like erotic tension between two strangers (?). Good performances. Not entirely my kind of movie but def worth the ride

Starts out like _Repulsion_ meets _Halloween_ until a last act twist into _Terminator_ science fiction territory. Good actors struggle with often frustrating material, but not without its rewards.
