Noah Beery Jr. is Tarzan the rip-off! Based on Otis Adelbert Kline's comic book Jan of the Jungle. And was Noah Jr. ever miscast as a man of jungle! That skinny shrimp wouldn't survive a day in the real jungle. This 12 part serial uses a lot of animal footage trying to build some plot around it until it turns weird with medieval solders and death rays! The cliffhangers are usually exciting, but this is very patchy work to varied result. Fun to watch it copy everything Tarzan.
