The Call of the Cumberlands

Stars one of the first actors of the serious western, Dustin Farnum. Having previously done the some of the first Hollywood movies The Squaw Man & The Virginian for Cecil B. DeMille, here he does one for another long-serving Hollywood director, Frank Lloyd. A redneck family feud type story which there are many of. The restored print is incomplete, so we don't get the full story. Doesn't seem to bring anything original to the mix, but does present some decent drama within the family quarrels.
