This was fun. The concept is decent and they went some cool, interesting and funny places with it, but overall, I thought the script needed work. There were portions that weren't very good and it brought down the movie. The cast was very likable, and there were some fun cameos from several actors and comedians I like. James Rolleston was probably the funniest. I had some laughs, but the film was largely inconsequential. Still, I love seeing New Zealand comedy flourishing like this.

This was quite a fun and fast-moving comedy from New Zealand. Madeleine Sami & Jackie van Beek do a solid job both in front and behind the camera, and it's nice to see this kind of film headlined by women on both sides of their 40s. Some gags don’t quite work or they might work better for Kiwis, but the film kept me entertained during its runtime, and the local flavor definitely added some extra charm.

Can't go wrong with a quirky Kiwi comedy about two best friends who run an offbeat (sometimes on the beat-see their hilariously awkward cop con shenanigans) business out of their wood-panelled office, especially with the natural performances on display here. The premise is a little flimsy like a flimsy flower but the way it portrays the nuances of maturity and fulfillment in relationships (romantic and platonic) is heartfelt and comes to a charming song-and-dance break-up and make-up ending.

A great fun film. Jen was maybe too hard to like as a character, she's a bit teacher-like, but Mel was wonderful and Madeline Sami is a great actress. James Rolleston was perfect for the part of Jordan and made me laugh. Overall the film was good, but it had the occasional scene which felt wrong, like it didn't quite fit. One of the funniest film openings I've ever seen though.

This is a weird but at sometimes a very funny movie. The cast are having a blast with their roles. Overall I would recommend this movie.

Started better than it finished. More laughs in the first half and it sort of wears thin by the end (only has a relatively short run time too in saying that).

This comedy provided a couple of laughs. Most of it was moderately amusing. I liked the characters. The Kiwi accents were sometimes difficult to understand. Overall, it was light-hearted and moved along quickly. Worth watching but not particularly great.
