Everyone's so animated that it's almost a cartoon! And it made for some wonderful wild fun! Fireman brawls, Brooklyn Bridge jumping, bar wrecking grannies and about a thousand weird characters in the immigration ports of ol' New York during the "Gay Nineties". And they sure brought all kinds of samples of the culture from the 1890s New York! There is lots to love about "The Bowery", but in between the awesome scenes the whole plot kind of loses it's focus and toward the end loses too much of it.
