We are all familiar with a type of mysteries, in which clues to investigation fall out from the sky at the exact moment the plot needs them. The Body is one of those, except for having an actual character who's responsible for that kind of plot devices. This could've been a good concept, if the movie was following that character from the beginning and to the end, but now it is just a poorly written thriller. The story itself is quite captivating, though.

Magnificent. This film has so much twists with its brilliant final. Non-stop thriller.

Tenuous police thriller about some murderous shenanigans gone wrong. Hitchcock-inspired, if you will. The movie is designed to look very atmospheric, with lots of darkness, shadows and pouring rain throughout. Lots of gruff actors and sexy femmes fatales. It takes itself very seriously, but is quite unconvincing. Hard to care about who ends up innocent and who dies. Inevitably, the plot all pours out in the last 5 minutes - a sure sign of material better suited to the smaller screen.

Gripping thriller/mystery which draws you in from the start and keeps you guessing until the end.
