The Blue Tower

I saw this described as "micro-budget". It definitely shows, but compelling characters and an intriguing story more than compensate for the production being a bit rough around the edges. Bhide crafts an atmospheric tale about a young disaffected British-Asian man and the heavy malaise that casts a shadow over his life. The music really adds to the mood, and although some of the acting is below par, it has a few nice directorial touches.
