The Blue Hour

I gave up an hour in having not seen hide nor hair of horror. It's a film about gay alienation and bullying not about a haunted pool. A film like Let the Right One In was also about alienation and bullying but it was actually about vampires right up front. If this was sold as a gay love story with a supernatural twist it would get a better score but since I've been duped I can't be bothered to watch until the end and it gets a crap score.

The romance scenes are shot like pure freedom. Not just from the horrors of the haunted pool and garbage pile, but also from the oppressive heteronormativity of family structures.
