The Big Ugly

Perlman and McDowell play the business men on opposite sides of this deal when things go sideways. Lawford (Perlman) is an oil man and Harris (McDowell) is looking to clean up his money when things take a turn for the worst. It provides a lot of heavy themes and some spotty writing during the middle act but ultimately it does characterize this particular incident in a way that does keep you invested in the outcome. Well rounded less known actors make up the supporting cast and that helps.
