The Big Show, the only feature-length motion picture produced by the Miller Brothers, is a behind-the-scenes melodrama set within their show. John Lowell, as Bill, a war veteran who has been defrauded by his brother rescues Ruth, the elephant girl (Evangeline Russell) and joins the company. Secretly engaged to Bill's "bad brother" Norman--allegedly an oil millionaire--Ruth rebuffs her rescuer's affection. Her elephant knows a villain when he smells one and eventually gives Norman his just deserts.

The circus company The Miller Brothers make a movie, partly to promote and reestablish their wild west show! Neither the movie nor their western show was a success. The plot just doesn't engage. At least there are samples of their acts thrown in between scenes! And that's really where the entertainment lay in this movie. Watching the clowns and animals join the story for very little reason....
