The Big Mouth

At this point of his career, Lewis really had no clue what the audience of the time wanted from comedy, so he delivered what could charitably be called an 'anti-comedy', a knowing subversion of fan expectations. Or perhaps it really isn't funny and that is just BS. Regardless, it is occasionally interesting to watch, and Lewis' nerdy professor makes a welcome return. Points awarded for Colonel Sanders too.

If you enjoy an extended comedy of errors it's pretty solid, besides the terrible racial caricatures at the end. I can only take this in small doses so 100 minutes is just too long for me.

This is just a great big ball of stupid nonsense, it almost seems like a Looney Tunes short but 105 minutes long! took me three days to finish this stinker.

Got me to chuckle a bit out loud. One of the better Jerry Lewis films I've seen.

Not his best, but still a laugh out loud Jerry Lewis comedy.

Jerry Lewis at his most 'Huh?' I couldn't explain the plot, I couldn't tell you any gags, I couldn't tell you why I watched it. But I can tell you to steer clear, even if you're a Lewis fan like me.
