The print I found was a little dark to catch everything, but the mildly entertaining crime-drama with Victor McLaglen & Jackie Cooper did shine though in parts. Actually is was Edward Brophy's comic relief that was the main reason I had a good time with The Big Guy (1939), but the plot had enough going on, even if it felt like it could have been handled better.
