Oil-field roughnecks Kenny Blake and Hank Mason, on a drinking spree with Betsy Abbott, buy a piece of worthless oil land from conman Jim Tolman. Cappy Groves, a diviner, locates oil on the property and Betsy arranges to rent drilling equipment from Tolman, with a stipulation that if oil isn't struck within sixty days, the property lease reverts to Tolman. Opened real good with Wayne Morris & Preston Foster on form introducing us to the scenario, welcoming in Dorothy Patrick with open arms. Drifts a bit in the middle when it gets a little more serious, but ends with a some solid bangs. While nothing original, I found it a enjoyable programmer. They certainly made it more fun than it probable should have been.
