Can’t wait for their Flintstones movie where Bam Bam hits Barney too hard and he convulses and Fred is having an affair with his boss Mr Slate that Wilma accidentally stumbles upon chiseled photos of and drowns Pebbles in a giant pelican mouth sink which croaks out a “its a living” while we all sit there confused.

A fun premise with a lackluster execution. I did have high hopes for this so I wasn't disappointed. The gore is fun but everything else was kind of mediocre.

Even with a lot of small shortcomings (and predictability, if you're genre-savvy), this is a feel-good romp that has everything and never doubts itself. Under scrutiny it's probably only above-average, and certainly takes longer to set up than it should, but once it gets going it accelerates exponentially to an extremely satisfying ending.
