Eye candy amputee explores the desert beyond Thunderdome for 90 minutes, does Ecstasy, fantasizes about eating Khal Drogo's meat, comes to, asks a crazy man if he's seen a girl, considers being john wick's semen receptacle, settles on Khal Drogo's meat. The end.

Started off real well and then slowly went downhill, ending up in a boring, aimless mess. Style over substance personified.

Extra points for Suki Waterhouse. The premise and story is completely asinine. Amputee graphics, cannibals, a strange burning man like cult and a lot of aimless violent action set in a barren and bleak desert. The whole thing is barely more than atmosphere. The dialog was sparse and stupid. Almost nothing was believable, plausible or convincing, especially the ridiculous twist ending. It was entertaining only for the shock value and stunning lead actress.

An offbeat coming of age fairy tale that paints America as a divided wasteland of undesirables who both literally and metaphorically feed on each other. Full of interesting performances, creative low budget aesthetics and sly tonal concoctions but feels too comfortable with its comparatively thin script. I can't say I didn't enjoy this but somehow I expected a little more from Amirpour.

Amirpour's debut was so stunning I'm not sure if I'm rating this too high because I want it to be good, or too low because it's nowhere near "A Girl Walks Home...". As a low-key Mad Max clone with some A-level existential brooding it has some really good moments, just not quite enough to sustain it through 2 hours, or enough of a payoff.

This film has a weird interesting premise but it does not go any place with it. The cast is an oddball mix and some of the choices don't work. The script has a few interesting moments but way to many uninteresting ones. Overall this film is disappointing.

Although the movie seems not to be completely sure what it wants to be about and tries to dance on too many parties at once, it still is full of obscure, over the top ideas, that make it feel fresh and interesting. Most of the casting choices feel really weird at first, but turn out alright. The dialogue is pretty bad at times though, even if Keanu Reeves delivers a great monologue about sanitation.

It's not without merit: it's beautifully shot and embraces atmosphere in an admirable way. But it's boring and empty without a character to care about. These problems are compounded by the fact that it doesn't earn having a 2 hour runtime.

An unearthed pearl of 2010's genre filmmaking. It has a great sense of place and people living beyond the fringes of society. What happens when all the freaks and unwanted people are left to fend for themselves. Into this situation our female protagonist Arlen is thrown into. With every step and every decision she (and the film) escapes expectation and carves out her own world in a wasteland. It's assured filmmaking from director Ana Lily Amirpour. A great hang-out movie.

A good start which rapidly dissolves into endless meandering in the desert. Beautiful people in beautiful surroundings set to dreamy electronic dance music. Seems like a long instagram post. Many parts evoke a feeling of perfume commercials.

Sparse and captivating experimental filmmaking. For all its poetics, The Bad Batch represents a scathing outlook on society. Welcome to our generation's wasteland, our seemingly inevitable future: marginalised, chewed-up and discarded, lost and dreaming of a world which never actually existed. The allegorical nuance is there if you wish to look for it- as befitting the narrative, it doesn't demand you do so, but you get out what you put in. Be open to exploring your own ideas, or be truly lost.

It has all of the right elements for this kind of movie but not really enough of any of them. Occasionally violent but not frequently or interestingly enough. Sometimes visually striking but in a sort of generic music video way. Kind of weird at first but it sounds much more out there on paper than in practice.

Demented and not even funny shallow post-modern picture of the author's metaphorical view of the world. The creature of images. Visuaaaaaaals.

Disgustingly horrible waste of time. I might have lost an hour on this garbage, but think of the poor cast and everyone involved! Once I saw Vice in the beginning, I knew it would be bad, but I gave Keanu the benefit of the doubt. People calling this a "parody" of certain genres or "brilliant" are a parody themselves. Regarding the atmosphere people are admiring, it's sad to call overextending a green screen - atmosphere. Bottom line, everyone who enjoyed this movie are a bad batch themselves.

The Bad Batch has some good ideas and is excellent at building atmosphere and presenting it to us in a stylish way. It doesn't tell a compelling story and we don't care about its characters or anything that happens within it. Does that make it worthwhile? It depends on why you're watching. If you can absorb the atmosphere for two hours and be happy with that, then it'll suffice. If you want a good story, you should look elsewhere. The Bad Batch is too long and too empty for me.

Well, at least it's original. Worth the time for Keanu's scenes alone. Also pretty impressive to shoot it on location with minimal CGI.

Post apolitik bir vampir filmi. İnsanlar çöllerde yaşıyor. Deney amaçlı bir kızımız çöle bırakılıyor. Fakat insan eti yiyen vampirler tarafından kolu bacağı kesiliyor. Zar zor kaçan kızımız, başka bir kasabada hayata tutunuyor. Cesur bir film. Fazla abartıya kaçmamış. Anlatımı hoş. Konsepti de çekici. Fakat fazla uzun ve ağır. Filmin sonunda kızını bulan vampirimiz ve esaretten kurtulan kızımıza aşık olur. Tavşan kaç tazı tut.

Painful. Amirpour's primary aesthetic here seems to be mid-2000s MTV -- which is to say, it's ugly. Real ugly. Everything about this piece of shit is ugly. Let's pretend this film didn't happen as we eagerly await her true follow-up to the brilliant AGWHAAN.

I did not like "A girl..." [30] but I loved this one although I recognize that it is kind of "bizarre". But Momoa, oh my God, his "breasts". Keanu and Ribisi well, I love the second one but man, they are mere cameos. Jim Carrey and Diego Luna??? Where were they? I did not see those two in the film.

No idea what this was supposed to be. The trailer and first 10min suggest a cool post-apocalyptic B-movie. Until you notice the trailer is just cuts from the first 10min. After that it becomes endless lingering shots of desert and empty characters shoegazing. Keanu's sleazeball cult leader is sort of fun but he has literally 2 scenes (5 mins in a 2 hour runtime) and the fantastic Momoa is typecast as grunting Cuban Khal Drogo. Just watch Amirpour's fantastic "A Girl Walks Home Alone..." instead.
