Acting performances are very good. The Kurt Voelker story and production is well crafted and full of emotion. Despite dealing with difficult subjects, the movie is entertaining and enjoyable. J.K. Simmons was vulnerable and believable. The young Josh Wiggins was also convincing as was Julie Delpy and Odeya Rush. Sad and heart breaking at times, but balanced with hope, humor and encouragement. A good movie that many may find hard to enjoy. Music and production quality is very good.
