The Babymakers

This was such an uneven movie. The beginning was all plot with very little humor. Keven Heffernan hanging out of the second story window was funny. But, the final half of the movie really showed some of that Broken Lizard brilliance. It seemed like it was a movie made by committee instead of just giving Chandrasekhar free reign to make something funny. I wasn't impressed with Schneider. He seems like an unlikable John Krasinski. It's not something I'd watch again.

So, today I learned you actually need the entire Broken Lizard crew to make a movie, not just half.

After Paul Schneider is told his sperm are no longer good, he has to go back and rob a sperm bank for his old donations. A slap-stick indie film.

A pretty good movie but not the best that has come from the Broken Lizard crew. Still, with the addition of the absolutely stunning, gorgeous and beautiful Olivia Munn I don't mind that it wasn't their best movie. Still, this film plays on the overused story line of a couple trying to get pregnant and all the pitfalls that you go through during that phase. Although most don't try to rob a sperm bank to reclaim their lost sperm. I really didn't mind this though, a good way to waste time.

Not boring but also not as raunchy as it thinks it is. Still, Paul Schneider is like leagues better than the rest of the movie.

A few laughs.

It's spot funny. It starts slow and there are lulls of dullness but it has it's moments. It's pretty raunchy and yet felt like they could have gone a little farther and developed more laughs. Either way I think fans of Broken Lizard (they didn't write it but had their hands in it) could enjoy themselves renting this.
