The Axe Murders of Villisca

I had some mild interest Because it's supposed to be a " Real Haunted House" Not far from where I live But the movie isn't very good

It does what movies with ten times the budget also do. Not better, it just does them. I'm talking jump scares and hack, but effective,haunted house visuals. Still nice to see a microbudget traditional horror movie that isn't found footage. Is there no spooky shit in California? I'm just saying Midwestern people don't usually wear winter coats when the leaves are still green.

I think that the story between the characters makes it better, it is not just deaths all over the place.
