The Assassins

It's a fairly average genre film. It develops character a bit more than most and tries to rely on that more than on choreographed action, but ultimately, because its characters are still underdeveloped, this approach renders it forgettable. There are also some questionable decisions with regards to the editing and the color palette.

fine drama. stretches a bit too much to try to hit some emotional notes. chow yun-fat is impeccable as always.
