The Assassination Bureau has existed for decades (perhaps centuries) until Diana Rigg begins to investigate it. Hey look another non Bond movie that could have been a Bond movie. While I'm not sure Rigg and Reed had good chemistry together they play off of each other well enough in this breezy and very delightful action comedy. Too bad this wasn't a franchise, perhaps that's for the best.

One hour and twenty minutes of masterpiece,Fifty minutes of clichéd,uninspired war film. The former mentioned segment,so unashamedly exuberant, like a day at the pantomime, so engaging.Everything,so joy filled, the tiniest of actions all exuded excitement in its purest form.It is perfectly finalised by this black underbelly, that appears so incredibly incrementally, that the shock amongst the excitement creates quite the experience.'Tis a crying shame how these principles disappear in the latter hal

i liked the concept, and reed and rigg were great. thought this would be a film full of clever murders, instead it's all bombs which was a bit disappointing. everything goes downhill when the story went away from its core concept of a killer on the run from other killers and became a generic and not clever stop a megalomaniac WW1 caper

Too dull and lacks the sort of humour needed to pull off a concept like this. It's campy and that gave me some minor enjoyment but just about everything else was irrelevant.

Utterly charming, beautifully designed romantic comedy about murder and death has intrepid \"reporter\" Rigg infiltrating a murderous organization just as a power struggle flares up within the company. Coincidence? I don\'t think so. Young people will find this dated, but it was dated even in its time and that\'s part of the fun. Oliver Reed playing a romatic lead? It works. Terrific stuff.
