The Argument

The Argument is an oddly paced comedy that falters midway with a montage of what seemingly amounts to outtakes. Fortunately, the film has a likeable cast and enough charm to pull through and deliver something that is a little different, a little meta, and has plenty of genuinely funny moments. The film seems to be aware of the absurdity of its premise, and despite the pointlessness of the plot, allows its characters to shine. It's not great, but it is pretty good by the end.
