The Annihilators

This was no Death Wish 3, but it should still satisfy your fix for 80's vigilante flicks. It's cliche filled and the style is all over the place with goofy humor and TV soap drama mixed with surprisingly brutal scenes. As a whole, it's tamer than it's "Annihilators" title or that poster would make you believe. Direction is pretty mediocre but serviceable, and the duration has been kept short. Nothing special, but I was still positively surprised and wonder why it's not better known.

Enjoyable low-budget 1980s Vietnam-vets turn vigilante movie. The low-budget shows, the acting is as wooden as often in B-movies, but the heroes are relatable average blue collar Joes instead of (almost) superhumans, the training of seniors, women and other "normal" is a nice differentiating aspect and the action scenes are very solid.
