The Affairs of Cellini

Bennett and Wray turn in good performances, but March is so lost in this bedroom farce that it becomes pretty forgettable and dull.

Sort of a bedroom farce, except done with the 16th-century theme with a murderous artist that the duchess falls for... while the duke falls for the artists own slave/lover. Comical and at times lame, but it was a funny role to see Fredric March in.Constance Bennett was super elegant as his duchess and Frank Morgan was super stupid as the duke. This isn't a great film (even if it was nominated for 4 Oscars!) and tend to drag a bit, but there are silly elements making it worth wild regardless.
