Woah. I loved this movie as a kid, but never realized it was "Japanese-Soviet co-produced." Very interesting! How the heck did my parents end up with this on tape? Anyway, it's got lots of good messages about bravery, standing up for what you believe in and responsibility. Definitely something my kids will watch too.
