The 5th episode of this old 1914 serial was found and restored by the New Zealand film archive. And it's a typical female heroine series of he time like those starring Helen Holmes or Pearl White. This one has Mary Fuller as the tough news paper dame. In the 5th episode (The Chinese Fan) she tracks down a kidnapped lady in a opium den in Chinatown. Didn't feel like it was among the best serials of the time, but I guess it entertained well enough.
