The Accountant

Ray McKinnon being great. Good cast, direction, characters, presenting a well-told and important story (increasingly so for our generation) with the unique twists of vision that makes something special. If you get a chance, see it ASAP.

Pretty entertaining short film with an authentic vibe.

A southern short with a very clever plot and great performances. I haven't heard of Ray McKinnon who directed and starred in this short before, but after seeing this I want more! I wish there was a feature film with the character of accountant.

Cleverly written piece that succeeds because of McKinnon's off-kilter performance. It's probably best the first time, with the element of surprise fully intact. Repeat viewings are enjoyable, in a more modest sense. The filmmaking itself is solid, but not remarkable, as the film relies primarily on its words to create the mood for the piece.
