The Death Race 2000 Purge Running Man movie from the sixties that was so confident in its script it gave Marcello Mastroianni blonde hair, something even the poster artist couldn't handle.

This film goes beyond campy and goes back again to become something truly special. The ending scenes are way too goofy, but it's supposed to be a sci-fi comedy after all. It's perhaps the earliest film (that I know of) to predict reality TV. And Ursula Andress plays one of the sexiest characters I've ever seen.

The premise is stronger than the execution(s). I thought that Andress was hotter in 'Dr. No', but in this one she can shoot bullets from her bra so it sort of evens out, I guess.

A perhaps quite prescient look ahead to the future of what reality TV may bring us. Though the ending IS absurd, Ursula Andress gets my vote for sexiest portrayal of any woman in any movie ever.

60'ies chic, a genuinely entertaining camp vision of a jaded, materialist sci-fi society brimming with beautiful people and inventive visuals.

A campy sci-fi spoof, with a dash of light social commentary. It's rather silly, especially with the absurd futuristic touches and James Bond-ish action, but obviously deliberately so. I can't imagine anyone really adoring this movie, but it's a fun diversion. I have to wonder if this is where Mike Myers got the Austin Powers idea for girls who shoot bullets from their breasts.

With a premise like this it could've been played straight or for laughs but here its played dry and uninteresting.

It's a really fun, silly thing that is also enormously hit-and-miss. It's just so fucking weird to see a Running Man precursor made during Italian 60's cinema starring none other than Marcello. The second half is pretty disappointing after the first half being kind of lovely.

This must be an inspiration for some of the famous films and novels nowadays. So why is this forgotten? Well, simply because it has only "the idea", the execution is pretty bad and campy.

I have a very low camp tolerance

The best of Elio Petri will come only after this film. As sci-fi comedy it's outdated -- but also stylish, funny and well acted enough to be entertaining.

Definately a product of its time, but remember that going into this and you'll enjoy it!

Hilariously stylish and has a pretty absurd ending. Nothing great, but certainly worth watching

When will there be a fitting cinematic adaptation of the work of Robert Sheckley?
