A fairly light affair with two big stars. The thing is that Tyrone Power had already done this movie with Loretta Young for Love Is News (1937), though remaking it with Gene Tierney wasn't exactly a off-putting idea. Just not very original to do it again. Tierney did look lovely so I'll forgive Tyrone from repeating this one. But if I was to choose one to play, I most likely would have gone with the original.

Pretty generic story that gets stale and stupid, certainly not good but it is tolerable, there are funny parts like the “typical capitalist behavior” or this one title from the papers: “Youth arrested after glitter was removed from campaign sign” what the fuck
