Charming, and with some really great animation. As a Tenchi Muyo film it does lack direction and originality, but fans of the show won't be disappointed.

I can't honestly explain why, but against all odds I enjoyed this movie. It's not really great, but I liked the goofy time travel plot, and it had some instances of great animation. Only recommended if you like the show or have a high tolerance of anime cliches, which this movie is full of.
