Tel Aviv on Fire

Amusing riff on Woody Allen's BULLETS OVER BROADWAY never flies quite as high as it could, but remains fun and engaging, even as it stays resolutely on the burgeoning conflict between Nashif and Biton rather than spoofing soap opera conventions (the show in question actually looks pretty sane and sensible!) More gentle and less pointed than it could have been, but the two men make for sparky combatants, and the escalation of their conflict is fun to watch.

The fact that the movie itself is more contrived and has only slightly better production values than the soap opera within it kind of undermines the whole premise for me. Or maybe that was the joke and I missed it. Either way, the mildly amusing farcical tone that it seems to be aiming for slightly outweighs the stupid and annoying aspects

That's right guys, hummus is totally overrated.

Fazla bir şey beklenmeden izlenince gayet keyifli ve sürükleyici bir seyirlik. Senaryosunda ve karakter yapılandırmasında hafif sıkıntılar olsa da anlatmaya çalıştığı şeyi çok net ve başarılı şekilde, son derece yerinde ve aksamayan bir tonda vermeyi başarıyor.
