Whatever charms the first two movies had are long gone at this point. Painful to sit through, even for devoted fans. No idea why "Tarzan Boy" is on the soundtrack, but it's the only good part of this mess.

Even if you're a TMNT fan this movie isn't all that hot. The plot is ridiculous, as in even if you can let the fact it's about four mutant turtles go there's still more absurdity to make it even more ridiculous. I didn't find it anything more than a rather poor cash in attempt. It's still got some redeeming bits here and there but certainly not worth seeing more than once even if you're a TMNT fan.

What ever the opposite of cowabunga is, this is it. Is this the earliest film to quote "schwing" ('Waynes World' was released just one year earlier in 1992)? What's with Corey Feldman voicing Donatello?

The Turtles go back in time...to feudal Japan and fight pirates? Casey Jones' return to the franchise is given the same level of excitement from the Turtles that you would give seeing someone at work you have talked to a few times about the weather. Did all the Turtles get veneers in this film?

It keeps a few hard to give up nostalgia points but this is a steep step down and its no surprise it ended live action tmnt for 20 years. Getting the turtles out of NY might have been a good idea if they were given cool fights or really anything interesting to do. The team is stripped of what little character they had and turned into obnoxious joke machines where EVERYTHING they say or do is an attempt to be funny and it is damn exhausting and the major ruination of the movie

By this point in the '90s, the TMNT franchise had grown tired. It's readily apparent in two ways. One, is the narratively lazy choice to combine the Turtles series with a hacky time-travel movie. Two, and more obviously, the animatronic effects for it's main characters are seemingly cheaper looking and less emotive. But, hey, welcome back Corey Feldman!

How appropriate that the third TMNT film is the third shittiest thing in this beloved franchise. The others are the rock band show and The Next Mutation. Worse story, garbage puppetry and incredibly dumb. And not in a good way like "Secret of the Ooze".

Even as a child I knew this movie was a third rate knockoff of the other two movies. How did this movie turn out so bad? Going to Japan, even feudal Japan, should have been cool for the turtles but it just ended up being boring with none of the humor present in the other movies. This movie added a half-assed love story between two members of feuding families in Japan but even that, as an adult, it didn't make me care about the story. Gone are the Jim Henson animatronics for rubber looking suits.

Turtles III is a resounding step down even by the second's standards. The quipping is reduced to nothing but poorly written catch lines. The feudal China setting is not used to any real effect or thrills. And the Turtles themselves appear as far to fake and the action never appears convincing in any way.

Growing up I had four movies at my dad's house; "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective"(1994) and all three TMNT movies, and yet even as a child I had to be insanely bored to even consider popping this into the VCR. However on the rare occasion I did, I rarely even finished it. On re-watch generally speaking it was overall, as a family/kids movie, certainly not the worst thing ever made, but without really any nostalgia to save this weak movie, sadly it becomes best to just forget about "Turtles in Time".

Consisting of a dumb plot, toned-down characters, and a shell of a lot less fun than the first 2, TMNT 3 is just really bad. The new voice actors do not help and nothing really works in the film.

It's a case of one sequel too many for the heroes in a half shell, with a tired time-travel plot gimmick failing to save the franchise from rapidly diminishing returns.

This really doesn't hold up well but at least it's better than the new remake. A very slight improvement to the second mostly do to the return of Elias Koteas.

This is perhaps one of the worst movies ever. The plot is beyond ridiculous, the acting or lack of same borders on the almost criminal. The make-up on the turtles are some of the worst I have ever seen. You can at several points in the movie see that the rubber masks are not tucked into the turtles clothes. I don't know who Elias Koteas owed money, but I hope that the movie game him enough to pay them off. That way at least one good thing came out of this amphibian monster of a movie!

Nothing at all like the first two Turtles flicks, and the absence of Shredder is too much for this crapfest to handle. The plot involves some time travel to feudal Japan where everyone speaks english and they fight samarai with yo-yos. Schlock-city.
