Teen Titans Go! To the Movies

A super fun time! *Slashes Gene Shalit slowly with a broken beer bottle*

I wrote a whole blurb involving budget and fanbase and realized all I really want to talk about is Michael Bolton Tiger's demise. That was jarringly funny. Also, the way they stop Aquaman's origin story is both brilliant and sick which only slightly worries me about giving my kid's attention over to them. The movie feels a bit too much like setpieces and shows its limited budget but I don't think the latter hurts the experience as much as the former. It was pretty amusing throughout.

It's actually toned-down a bit from the TV show, which given the runtime of a film is a significant positive. It's bright, catchy and makes both myself and my 4 year old laugh at fart jokes in equal measure.

i really enjoy these warner animated self-aware movies.

TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES hits like a breath of fresh air in a cinematic landscape saturated with superheroes, especially as its wry humor seeks to counterbalance at the (so far) overwrought films of the DC Synderverse. It doesn't attempt much more than could be accomplished in a multi-part TV arc, nor are the in-jokes any more clever than what circulates on geek-centric message boards. Still, it's a cathartic rush of cutesy fan service and miraculous proof of life for 2-D animation.

I didn't expect it to be a musical and I didn't expect it to have so many incredibly dark jokes. One joke made me laugh so hard that my nose started bleeding. You should really really see this movie.

Funny enough, metalanguage, satire, spoof/parody, and for all public, you do not need more. Pan.

This movie is what the show should have been from the start.

I've never seen the show, thought this looked pretty funny in the trailers and I was right. The jokes come fast and surprisingly there are quite a few that land hard. There are enough of them to put this into good territory. It works as a fun way to pass some time, but for fans of comics there are enough meta-jokes to sink your teeth into as well. Sometimes the darker jokes feel strange and try-hard, but all-in-all a good time. That song is, indeed, incredibly sick.

Uhh did somebody say a DC movie that's a little dark and has some humor that's actually funny? I'm a little shocked myself. Parts of this were as dumb as the episodes I've seen of the television show, but it's meta humor and self awareness of what TTG truly is make it a really fun time. The animation was clean and the actual fight scenes were done well, as was the message. It could have been WAY worse.

The plot actually makes sense. Be aware of Warner Bros' plans!

Surprisingly hilarious, thanks to its self aware and rapid fire comedy nature.

Wonderfully silly. The background jokes are good, the shots at DC are really good.

I never seen the series but this movie is perfectly watchable on its own. It’s a very funny takedown of the superhero movie craze. With some great funny songs.

no idea if kids actually watch these titans but if they do the cartoon has to rank pretty high on the parents annoying loud cartoons scale. Not that it ain't funny though, the dark, cynical jokes own though and the movie had some cute moments as well.

Actually a hell of a lot better than I expected after years of hearing nothing but dumb ass fanboys shitting all over the series because "WAAAAH IT'S NOT THE TEEN TITANS I GREW UP WITH!!!!"

Shockingly good

Equally hilarious and obnoxious, so I enjoyed it a lot and would also be happy if my kids never wanted to watch it again.

It started off strong but it just becomes repetitive after awhile.
