How Jimmy Fallon gets work as an entertainer is beyond me. Also, how one of the members of The State and the guy responsible for The Fifth Element wrote this crap is also beyond me.

I am at a complete loss for snide remarks. They were swallowed by the vacuous hole that is Jimmy Fallon's acting ability. Ah, wait. One escaped.

Enjoyably light and silly action film is powered by Latifah and Fallon’s surprising comic chemistry and equally fluid direction of the action and dialogue scenes by Story. If it can’t quite maintain its momentum right to the end, it’s still a fun ride; while it couldn’t be accused of being a subversive text, it is interesting that all of the major roles run against the typical ethnic and gender stereotypes that you would expect, giving it an added dose of freshness.

Why make a remake of the original, just to strip it of all the subtleties and turn into another hollywood pulp.

This remake of the amazing French car action movie of the same name doesn't do it's predecessor justice. Jimmy Fallon shows up to be his normal likable self in this leading role. Queen Latifah shows up to let everybody know why she can cross any boundary that Hollywood sets up for her. This might have been the very movie that moved her into the mainstream consciousness.
There is nothing really revolutionary about this movie. The story is blah. The acting is pretty blah. The jokes were blah.

There is something wrong with this film, and I cannot quite put my finger on what it is.
The two main characters exist in the film, but things seem to happen around them. Even though they do things that are important to the story, it is like they are ghosts. I suppose the issue is they are so enormously different to the other characters (who are all played straight) in what would otherwise be a normal film, that they seem unreal.

"The film's labored attempts at titillating sexiness is reminiscent of a mediocre Maxim magazine celebrity-skin spread." - Nick Schager

The bad performance of the leading man and incompetence of the director make the movie can not be neither a comedy nor arrest the attention for action.

First of all, I should say not to bother in the first place with seeing this film. Taxi has an awful premise, and it seems that the film makers though putting attractive women in lingerie would save it. Well, not this time. Utter crapulence!

Why does americans have to remake every goddamn succesful europian movie. Taxi in Luke Besson's production in france was one of the greatest europian relaxation comedies in the 90ties. This shit is worse than remake of Les Visitours... Hollywood go to hell!

I guess Hollywood banks on the fact that there are many, many people that out there that will pay to see a terrible movie. Fortunately I wasn't one of those people. Insomnia. HBO. Enough said.

I didn't see this movie by choice; it was sort of forced upon me as member of a captive audience. Had I the opportunity to choose, however, I'd opt to have glass rods inserted into my tear ducts, while being sodomized with a hockey stick wrapped in razor wire. Although both options elicit the exact same physical sensations, at least the latter would have been by choice.

Three reasons this movie got a 30.
1. Gisele Bündchen feeling up Jennifer Esposito.
2. Jennifer Esposito getting felt up by Gisele Bündchen.
3. Jimmy Fallon's line while changing clothes outside the car that Queen Latifah is sitting in. "Didn't see my nads, did ya?"
Other than that... All crap.
