Tarzan and the Leopard Woman

I like this one with all the terrific stereotypical sets including an Arab market (in the fictional city of Zambesi), snake charming, colonial soldiers, and so on.

Skipped over several movies & this is a drop in quality but... standard for the time? There's a decent action sequence w/ Tarzan acting like Rambo & taking down leopard guys one at a time & it's (unintentionally) interesting to see colonialists be heroes. However, Jane's never appeared more useless and housewifey. She can't do ANYTHING helpful?!? There's also no reason for anyone to be confused by the leopard folk & "Tarzan, you still haven't fixed the shower"? Is this jungle adventure or what?

Not among the better Tarzan movies, but I appreciated the cheesiness of Tarzan and the Leopard Woman (1946). The creepy leopard boy, the random pretty girls that always found themselves in trouble, the tribal nature and Cheetah getting to be more of a hero than Johnny Weissmuller. Not one to take too serious, but embrace the playful jungle flare to get the most out of it.
