Tante Pose (1940) is one of Norway's Christmas traditions. One that I have avoided all these years. Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen it in full regardless of it being aired on national television almost every year. And I can easily see why I've never been able to finish this Norwegian classic. It's a very light affair and feels very dated, even with "1940 eyes". But at the same time there is something warm about the Norwegian spirit of this, which I guess is why it's been so enduring.
