One of the rare Bollywood movies, where they actually try to do something different from typical romantic or Antagonist vs Protagonist movies

It's nothing but the beaten path all over again, but ... but this time it has Imtiaz Ali's name attached to it and that in itself is a sufficient and a commendable reason to check this one out. Stay patient guys

Tamasha (2015) is sparkling at times, other times drifting way off course, which is a regular thing in Indian movies when you have to fill 2 1/2 hours of routine love stories. The personalities of Ranbir Kapoor and especially the lavishing Deepika Padukone make it a lot easier to keep follow. Production wise it has some fine touches even if they could have done better with the story of a free soul. Respect for the Asterix referance!

Tamasha is like a dream movie of a producer... where he wants to show all that he knows.. create a universe around the lead character and detail it out. It's a large movie fit in small time. Dramatic yet entertaining. Ranbir Kapoor does the right justice with till date best performance. Clearly, it's story and it's narration! May seem illogical at some point. Ever changing story keeps person attached to the seat. Deepika Padukone is doing the same, old, regular role again.
