Good, intelligent screen adaptation of Harwood's play. Solid performances all around. True, Keitel's character (the American prosecutor) is portrayed a little too one-dimensionally, but I think it works in context. Great music, as is to be expected.

Interesting. It really isn't easy for the viewer to take sides when watching this movie. However the ending makes it clear who you should be rooting for and I do feel that this could have been better written, as it sometimes seems a bit too simple a portrayal of the controversy. Keitel (and also some of his text) is too bluntly trying to make a 'bad guy' out of a character who's potentially more complex than that.
