Crap-ass blaxploitation flick about a sassy kung fu mama who goes to Hong Kong to get revenge on her brother's killers. The drug trafficking plot is wafer thin, the martial arts action is hysterically bad, and the lead actress is a 3rd rate Pam Grier wannabe. The movie ends out of nowhere when Ms. Jackson, after getting her ass kicked for about 5 minutes straight, suddenly punches her enemy in the stomach and rams her fist out through his back, killing him instantly. Alrighty then.

Low budget, low impact Kung Fu-blaxpoitation hybrid is briskly paced and brief enough not to wear out its welcome; performances are about as good as you could expect from this era and genre, though Bell (clearly aping Pam Grier) is not a particularly charismatic heroine. Some sloppy fight scenes (and moments when Bell looks suspiciously like Leo Sayer from behind) contribute a few unintended chuckles.

TNT Jackson estreava há 50 anos nas Filipinas. Tô vendo uns filmes bem curtos hoje. Sabe quem fez esse roteiro? The only one Dick Miller, mas o Corman mexeu tanto nele que nunca mais se submeteu a isso. Enfim, o filme parece ser feito apenas por não atores, mas tá longe de ser um Bresson. Rá! YTS.

Some of the crummiest action scenes I have had the joy of witnessing.

All other criticisms aside, when making a martial arts film please have it that the lead is at least somewhat believable in the role.

You expect it to be badly acted with a terrible script, you might even expect the laughably bad "action" scenes. What you might not expect is how tediously dull all that is; Except for a few fleeting moments it never even captures the stupid fun of the better exploitation movies.

pretty boring. but: the martial arts scenes, though not well done, were kinda fun.
