Lars Hanson's leading ladies are Elissa Landi as his wife, and Gina Manès as his mistress. And it's a intriguing love triangle which goes from cheating to suspected of child murder! So a bit grim and not at all a sweet loving story. Hanson is great and one can't help but hate Manès so she did her job more then alright! I still with we'd gotten even closer to the people in this film to really connect with the emotional bits, but Gustaf Molander still directs a high quality picture!
