I.... ended up enjoying this silly musical. Just imagine Walter Pidgeon all dressed up in 18th century gear singing! So bizarre when knowing the Hollywood persona he would perfect later on. Also has the only significant role Perry Askam had in his movie career. Supposedly the hero, but I have a feeling they changed their mind half-way considering how awful he looked and went with Pidgeon instead. Claudia Dell was a doll. All lavish and easy going, never taking itself too seriously.
