The beginning looked promising, but after that, it didn't pick up much momentum.

Bless them for trying. This may be Dolph Lundgren's best acting. The directing, cinematography, and production value are all at least competent. Unfortunately, the script is not particularly interesting. This is neither gritty enough nor fun enough. It falls flat somewhere in the middle.
