Sweedie Learns to Swim

Wallace Beery was always game for physical comedy, so his start in Essanay's Keystone knockoffs isn't too surprising. Most of them are a bit lost by the wayside, but we are left with a bit of the one recurring starring gimmick, wherein he would don a dress as Sweedie. See, she's a young Swede in domestic employ, just shy of 6", and prone to pratfalls and run-ins with the Keystone-adjacent Konstabulary. This being a beach (and flooded bathroom) episode, Beery also dons a bathing suit.
