Swamp Woman (1941) is Producers Releasing Corporation hiring a stripper for $1000 a week to do a hell of a lot of talking and very little stripping. There was the scene where she gets into the swamp to save that lousy actor playing the convict, but even that was immensely innocent. Ann Corio wasn't a bad actor for her first of only 5 films, but I doubt anyone who bought tickets to see this movie wanted to see the famous Burlesque artist act!
