Surrounded

A worthy addition to the western genre, presenting a unique perspective on the classic gunslinger narrative.

I really enjoyed this film. Its a great depiction of female perseverance, if a little grim. Its more a film with character development and a lot of atmosphere and tension, less a sort of constant action type Western film (there is some pretty strong violence but its not constant, there are some pretty low key scenes) but it really pulled me in. The cast do a decent job - particularly Jamie Bell, I felt. There's some great cinematography and its a well made Western film generally. Recommended.
