Campy fun. Meyer knows how to fill a film with sex, and in this case also violence, while still letting the other parts of the picture hold their own. The writing and acting may be far from perfect, but they're more than adequate, and the film has a good sense of humour.

A ridiculous episodic cross country trek where the protagonist runs into buxom whores who fling themselves at him at every turn. Hot chicks, fast cars, groovy tunes and lots of HUGE boobs. God bless Russ Meyer.

Once again Meyer uses a Middle-American road-trip as a backdrop, but the volume of sex and brutality of the sporadic violence are unprecedented. He really pulls out the stops and blows off the top this time, and for the most part I was almost too fixated on the enormous, jiggling boobs to care that the film is much less interesting than some of his 60's stuff.

It's deeply problematic and Russ Meyer really needed therapy, but I cannot deny the amazing weirdness and the (sometimes literal) balls to the wall it goes, especially in the third act, which is extremely unhinged. Leaping lizards indeed! (Deeply enhanced by watching it with a fun group)

My appreciation for Meyer films is inversely proportional to the amount of time he spends jamming giant breasts in my face. I don't really begrudge the man his obsessions, but I don't share them and his and my aesthetic sensibilities clash on this matter. I generally love his hyperviolent, absurd sense of humour and manic editing style, but I'm bored by long sequences of pneumatic women bouncing around for little reason.

The ending drags on too long.
