There are some moments of egregiously bad writing (Supergirl, having relatively recently discovered her powers, wants to shop?; Darkseid can create an army of Doomsdays whenever he wants now? & Superman can take them all out w/ heat vision? why the hell was one so much trouble then?), but there are several welcome surprise character appearances who stick around for more than a cameo, some well-made action sequences & an awe-inspiring earth-shaking battle that occurs just when you least expect it

Its problems stem from the original comics - invocations of inadequately-explained continuity, gimmicky moves like the army of Doomsdays, and sketchy stuff like overly-sexualized costumes on a teenager. But for all its flaws, it packs a *lot* of incident in there, and the ending battle is just superb.

Revolves around the same back and forth between Superman/Supergirl for every scene. Same crap different pile in other words. Also a little uneven, with a scene dedicated to Supergirl's shopping spree lasting as long as any fight.

Top badass moment? It must have been good, as I immediately ordered the entire Supergirl series. Superman spends way too long shopping, but takes time out to trash a big chunk of Themyscira and totally wreck his adoptive parents’ farm. Meanwhile, Batman wonders about cosplaying as Morticia Addams, sorting out all the shit Superman stirs up, as usual. More positively, we don’t have to put up with Superman’s annoying girlfriend and there're some great fights. 1 cat, no chainsaws or decapitations.

Nothing really revalatory about this DCAU feature. Supergirl is introduced into the animated universe in an adventure featuring big DC baddie Darkseid. Highlight is an action-packed final showdown between the ultimate good vs ultimate evil. Batman, as usual in these teamups is good comic relief with his stoic pessimism.

The movie doesn't know if Supergirl should be the main character or a side character, whether or not she should be a stoic but learning young hero or an annoying teenager. Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are all fine, but Darkseid is underused except for that pretty great final battle. Needed more focus on a more defined Supergirl to be a great animated movie.

Didn't really get into it, didn't even finish it, too much of a kids cartoon as far as I watched it, also skipped to end and can't say it differed much from the first part so yeah, wouldn't watch. Couple of jokes but other than that just no good plot to keep you interested.

As much as I'm into comic book adaptations, I feel like I'm beginning to scrape the bottom of the barrel when I've resorted to watching crossover animated movies. It was still a reasonable watch, I guess.

Another great DC animated film, with the voices from the Batman animated series and the Justice League cartoon. The story is good, and involves Superman meeting his cousin and fighting Darkseid. A must watch for any Superman or DC fan.

Like it's predecessor this is mostly the action. But the action is far better this time in my opinion.

Impressive animation, but there are a lot of problems. Some fights that don't need to happen or go as long as they do, focus on shopping instead of character development, and the least intimidating Darksyde voice I've ever heard.

Why yes, I dó expect to see a minutes long clothes shopping scene in an animated movie called APOCALYPSE.

I'm going with the consensus here: The voice acting and animation were quite good, but Supergirl was annoying. Not the best animated film I've seen, but it wasn't the worst, either.

Not the best animated DC film; Supergirl is annoying and the 139-minute shopping spree scene (I want to be an Earth girl!) ended whatever fun I'd been having.

The fighting goes on a bit too long, and the story is a bit dull, but the voice acting and animation are pretty good.

Very good animation and voice acting. The story is okay and there are good moments. I personally rather see DC heroes in earth instead other universes.
