Well... it has some moments. But as I've fiiiinally started watching 'Reno 911!' this just can't compare in any way and it made the slow setups to average jokes even more of a shame. Also please don't be mad I didn't watch Reno any earli-OW WHO THREW THAT

This is the most Anchorman 2 movie since they foolishly made Anchorman 2. I like the guys and wish them well. Club Dread is still my favorite so I've already lost my connection with you.

After an "Indiegogo" campaign full of perks, the Broken Lizard boys were able to raise the funds for a sequel to their cult classic hit "Super Troopers", and the gang delivered on their campaign promises with another adventure for their stoner fans. Although my judgment could have been clouded by the 4/20 release date and all the holiday festivities, but relatively speaking, for a comedy sequel released 16 years after the original, this is like smoking a nice familiar bowl of comedy buds.

Not the first one by any means. I can't tell if they tried too hard for laughs or not hard enough; either they just aren't as funny anymore or they threw no jokes out during the writing process and just put them all in. Either way it's not as funny and that hurts. I did laugh a few times, but some of it was just lazy. Still had a good time.

I would say a sequel to Super Troopers was a welcome return to the bawdy, boisterous comedy of the '00s -- if this sequel had actually captured the original's spirit and hilarity. There's one humorous scene of the troopers fucking around with pulled-over drivers, and the Broken Lizard's barrage of crass quips and insults are admirably consistent, but most of them simply fall flat as if the film isn't aiming for more than a chuckle, featuring plenty of cliched gags and set-pieces.

So yeah, that was a sequel to Super Troopers. There's definitely some laughs (the scenes where they try the drugs and pretend to be Mounties in particular), but it's not Super Troopers (besides the ham-fisted plot, that is).

I can't say I'm disappointed because it's nearly exactly what I expected. But it shows once again that no matter how much you might want to see more of the characters you love from a cult comedy, they seldom can capture lightning in a bottle a second time.

Like tossing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks, this movie throws a lot of humor out and some of it sticks. I laughed a few times, so I appreciated that. Of course nothing was believable and some of the humor was quite tedious. I guess I was just in the mood for some silly fun when this one came along.

It is what it is. Maybe doesn't need a theatrical run and just needed to be on home media where you can watch it with your buddies at 1 AM

One of the tougher movies I'll review this year, because of the place ST holds in my heart. Of note, Chandrasekhar's direction hasn't changed in 15+ years. Like other sequels, this doesn't HAVE to be the original to be good; this is good, but, I'd be lying if I said I thought it was anything more. The Can-Am humor works for me, and it really was great to see these characters again. But I'm left fighting that ugly "we waited 16 years for this?" feeling. Not disappointed, but aspired for greater.

Watched a special screening of this film and fans of the original movie will not be disappointed. If you liked the first film you should enjoy this one. There are plenty of laughs and funny scenes. Overall I would recommend this comedy.

The luxury of not having to wait in between the two movies isn't lost on me. My first time watching the first happened 2 hours before the second, but I will say, I liked it for what it was. Nowhere near as irreverent as the first one, but it's a natural continuation I'd say. The Clerks II to Clerks.

It's fine despite how unnecessary it is. I'll never watch it again but it doesn't taint the wonder that was the first one.

It wasn't a bad movie really, but I think I'm not immature enough and maybe not canaian or american enough to properly enjoy this movie. The main plot was ok, the sideplots were mostly awful, especially the female hormones one.

I'm not sure this was really needed. Feels like a relic of a different time even tho it came out this year. The quippy dialogue doesn't work as well this time around, but the physical humour still does.

A 16-year old sequel with the same cast and same small parts impressed me. The throwbacks that honored the first movie were fun and probably the highlights of Super Troopers 2.

A piss-poor follow-up to the hilarious 2001 comedy. Bar a few amusing moments, it not only fails to recreate the original's randomness, it fails to be funny in general. There's no spark in the acting and the script feels like a string of underwhelming bits, repetitive jokes and cringey dialogues that occasionally gets violently interrupted by a basic, unoriginal, predictable plot. It's disappointing that this was the best they could do and that their strained efforts show every step of the way.

The lowest of low brow, funny but has no standout scenes like the first. Some good cameos though.

It's hard to make a movie that tries too hard, and doesn't try at all, but they seem to have achieved it. The wackiness seems more forced and the funny moments are in the little give and takes for the most part. Some bonus points for nostalgia and still being better than 85 percent of comedies coming out today.

A "lets see what sticks" kind of comedy that doesn't get a whole lot to stick. I chuckled form time to time and it was nice to see the gang back together.
